American History Shabbat

Join Value Culture’s first in person Shabbat experience in 2021, with legendary Hollywood director Tony Kaye at a historic, legendary San Francisco venue in conversation with Value Culture Founder, Executive Director Adam Swig and special guests. Tony Kaye more than directed the famed film American History X. He’s also a talented musician, visual artist, a grammy winner for best short form music video, and family man. He’s done music videos for Johnny Cash, Roger Waters, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, worked with Paul McCartney, and other feature films include Detachment, Lake of Fire, and the soon to be filmed African History Y.

Tony’s music video for Johnny Cash’s God's Gonna Cut You Down won the 2007 Grammy Award for best short form video. Director Tony Kaye filled the video with cameos from other actors and musicians, since Johnny Cash had passed away.
