The second annual Love Fest SF, a community arts and music event is taking place in San Francisco’s Tenderloin Neighborhood on Saturday August 2nd!

Experience an all day free music and arts festival with 4 stages spanning 2 blocks on Larkin Street between Eddy and O’Farrell from 11am-6pm featuring local DJs and artists in direct support of small businesses and love for the TL. FREE BLOCK FESTIVAL! Last year we broke "the doom loop" !

LoveFest SF will take place on Larkin Street in Little Saigon, home to some of the most popular restaurants in the area. Festival goers can support small immigrant businesses, including:- **Sweet Glory**: A popular cake shop that is women, immigrant, and LGBTQ-owned.- **Lers Ros Thai- **Pho2000**- **Golden Lotus**- **Los Yucatecos**- **Lapats Thai**- **Rainbow Market and Deli**

- **Lee's Sandwiches**- **J&D Hair Studio**: Get a fresh cut.- **Tilted Brim**: The Tenderloin’s official clothier.All these small businesses are located on the LoveFest festival site. Other participants include Barcar and more.

Love Fest SF is created by the Tenderloin Merchants Association led by Rene Colorado, Value Culture, a local non profit organization developed by San Francisco native and event entrepreneur Adam Swig, AW3 Technology’s William Schulz, and SF Vibe now joining the fun in 2025, plus Paul Breed and all the family helping make Love Fest SF happen on a shoestring budget.

This event is free and all ages. Attendees are welcome to chip in. Dress to express yourself. Taking SFMTA Public Transit is encouraged. The Tenderloin Community First Responder Safety Ambassadors (CFRSA) will be on site to greet visitors

Artist in Residence works available in support of Value Culture

Value Culture partners with SF Heritage on the third artist in residence at the historic Doolan-Larson home at the corner of Haight and Ashbury streets. This June and July, Jimmie Fails has moved into the residence of Benefactor Norm Larson who died and left it in the care of San Francisco Heritage.Best known as the lead actor in The Last Black Man of San Francisco, Jimmie Fails will have the three residential levels landmark to create.Previous artists in residence were local favorite artist Jeremy Fish and composer Ben Juodvalkis from Joe Goode Performance Group. The 1903 building is best known for its place in the cultural revolution of the '60s, at the intersection of Haight and Ashbury. Legend has it Janis Joplin roller skated in the addict while her girlfriend Peggy Caserta sold clothes to bands like the Grateful Dead in the storefront below.“It’s places like [the Doolan-Larson Residence] that spark my creativity and keep me inspired to make art. As a San Franciscan, I am truly honored to take on this residency." -Jimmie FailsThere will be a show in early October featuring Jimmie’s residency.

The show, “Seven by 7” was put on display at 1506 Haight St. in a temporary pop up gallery event space created by Value Culture in an empty storefront. There are six remaining of the 7 1/1 pieces for sale in support of Value Culture. 100 limited edition art books were created and autographed by Jimmie Fails.
